Silent movies were made throughout the Pikes Peak region. The Greater Barrier, produced in 1915 by the Pikes Peak Film Company in Colorado Springs, was a Western romance. While the film starred Joesphine West and George Gebhart, it also called upon the talents of the CC football team, Edmund Cobb, Madeline West, and Silver Dollar Tabor.
